The Easter story - the journey of Jesus to the cross and from the tomb - is a story of scandal. Now that Judas has decided to betray Jesus, we now Jesus' arrest. John's summary of the events moves in a non-linear way between three plotlines: (i) the miscarriage of justice, (ii) the denial of a friend, and (iii) Jesus speaking truth to power
