Mark 4:35-41

The  ability to calm a storm, commanding the elements, leaves the disciples asking who Jesus could be.

 Jesus explains the mystery of the miraculous unveiling and growth of the Kingdom with three parables.

Mark 4:1-20

 

The parables show something of who Jesus was, without fully opening the eyes of a crowd who don't get who He is.

Jesus is being misunderstood and the work of the Spirit misrepresented, even by His family. He was the Son of God, not a lunatic or demon possessed.

Through Jesus' resurrection, we who were dead in sin have been made alive in Him.
